Abrasive Month 2025 – October Grind Fest

Abrasive Month 2025 – October Grind Fest

Every October here at Ultimate Floor Care, we bring you new additions to our ranges that Abrasive Month 2025 – October Grind Fest.

Every October here at Ultimate Floor Care, we bring you new additions to our abrasive ranges – products that can save you time, solve a problem on site, or add that missing piece to your sanding system. And on top of that, you can take advantage of 5% off our entire abrasive range from leading brands, including Starcke, Bona, Pallmann, and our newest exclusive line – GRITLINE.

This month, we’re not just giving you savings. We’re also bringing in game-changing options that you don’t want to miss. Here’s what’s new for October Grind Fest 2025:

Starcke Abrasives

83mm Triangles for the Fein Multitool
Not every contractor carries a designated corner sander, which is why so many rely on a multitool like the Fein. Until now, that often meant cutting discs down to size for corner sanding. With Starcke’s new dedicated 83mm triangles, you’ll have the right fit straight out of the box.
Silicon Carbide Discs for the Rotex
Many contractors use the Festool Rotex for the final pass around the edges – blending the centre of the floor with the edges and removing the deeper scratches left by traditional edgers. Silicon carbide discs are perfect here, giving you a much finer scratch pattern for a flawless finish.
And of course, we continue to stock the full Starcke range of belts, discs, and pads – but these are the new additions for October.

Bona Abrasives

This year we’re highlighting the simplified sanding processes that Bona has developed for use with the Bona Flexi Sander. Their Platinum Ceramics, Green Ceramics, and Diamond abrasives give contractors quicker, more efficient sequences matched to different Bona finishes.

We’ve also added the Bona Diamond Plates. These are designed for high stock removal without clogging on the Bona Flexi Sander. Available in 30, 50, or 70 grit, we’ve chosen to stock the 50 grit after field testing – it’s the best all-rounder for cutting through tough coatings and sticky residues that contractors regularly come up against.

Pallmann Abrasives

If you’re using the Spider, Cobra or GECKO STAR 2.0, you’ll already know Pallmann abrasives are designed to work seamlessly with their machines. We stock all three abrasive types: Ceramic, Zirconia, and Silicon Carbide — giving you the right performance whether you’re cutting back old coatings or refining for oil. Grits range from 24 to 100, depending on the type, with the Spider discs in particular available across the core trade sizes: 40, 60, 80 and 100. These aren’t new to our range, but they are part of this month’s 5% abrasive deal — a good time to restock before the winter jobs start landing.

GRITLINE (Exclusive to Ultimate Floor Care)

Our own GRITLINE range has only just launched, starting with the 178mm Zirconia discs designed specifically for the Pallmann Spider. They’re built with the correct hole pattern to keep discs cool, reduce clogging, and prevent dust from contaminating the finish. Contractors using the Spider have already seen great results with these discs, and this is just the beginning – we’ve got more sizes and options on the way. Right now, GRITLINE is available in 36, 40, 60, and 80 grit – effective sanding at great value.

With 5% off all abrasives this October, it’s the perfect time to stock up before the winter rush or try something new that could save you both money and time on site in the long run.

Save 5% on premium abrasives before 31st October. https://ultimatefloorcare.co.uk/pages/abrasive-month
