1. Bona White Primer
Finish: Bona White imparts a Scandinavian, white-washed appearance to light and medium-coloured wood species. The intensity of the white tone can be adjusted by applying multiple layers, allowing for a subtle white tint or a more pronounced white-washed look.
Application: Apply Bona White using a Bona supercoatRoller at an approximate rate of 10-12 m² per litre. After the first coat dries (typically within 1-2 hours under optimal conditions), abrade the surface with a 120 - 150grit or finer sanding screen to reduce grain raise. For a more intense white effect, additional coats can be applied following the same procedure. Once the desired whiteness is achieved, seal the surface with a compatible Bona lacquer, such as Traffic HD Extra Matt, to protect the finish.

2. Bona Natural Primer

Application: Apply Bona Natural Primer evenly using a BonaSupercoat Roller at a rate of 10-12 m² per litre. Allow the primer to dry for approximately 1-2 hours. If a second coat is desired to enhance the natural look, repeat the application process. After the final coat, abrade the surface lightly with a 150-grit or finer sanding screen to smooth any grain raise before applying the topcoat. Overcoat with any range from the Bona lacquers. If you want to keep the Natural unfinished appearance, use Bona Traffic HD Raw.

If applying two coats, lightly sand between coats using a 150-grit or finer sanding screen. After the final coat, proceed with the application of a Bona lacquer to achieve the desired finish.
