The Cubitron Sanding belt last up to 4 times longer than a Zirconia belt and cuts twice as fast, they even outperform normal Ceramic belts by lasting twice as long. In addition the Cubitron belt leaves a better finish than an Aluminium Oxide, Zirconia or Ceramics. The semi open coated structure resists clogging and is part of the reason for the increased speed of cutting.
One pass with 36 grit is all that is usually required to remove an old finish and level the floor, follow this up with 60 grit and you will be amazed at both the speed and quality of the what you have achieved.
